At Delacon we’re fortunate that our customers are as passionate about call tracking as we are. Although indago digital are not an end user they are always promoting call tracking to their own clients and their recent survey makes for an interesting read. As with any technology we come across various objections and the ‘Our Phone Number is our Brand’ is certainly a recurring one. Even if that is the case we’d argue that the ROI call tracking provides would outweigh the negative affect of not having a recognised phone number.
The survey asked the general public whether they remember the phone number of their car insurance, home internet and mobile phone provider. Key findings from the call tracking survey include the fact that only 3% or those surveyed remembered one of their providers’ phone numbers. Of that 3% nearly half of them remembered the number due to calling it often to complain.
